Fritz & De Murcia

A collaboration between Sven Fritz and Amédée De Murcia (a.k.a. Somaticae, with records on -among others- In Paradisum, Gin&Platonic). It started - Surrealism in the time of social media - as a Cadavre Exquis game via the Signal messenger app. The two exchanged sound material and composition studies during one year. After several months a certain procedure was found: Sven usually started with non-harmonic, abstract noise and glitch sounds that Amédée then translated into MIDI, to be then played with artificial orchestral instruments. Some of those new tracks then where remixed by those two again, resulting in an odd, but surprisingly pleasing, digital yet concrete contemporary collage music. The eleven tracks on this album are therefore closely linked in their creation, and unfold a sonic identity that follows a path of increasing intensity.

Folgespiel was released digital and on CD by Søvn Records, 2026.

Hui

Hui is a collaboration with Johannes Schebler (mappa, Buh Records, Quindi, STROOM, et al).

Superposition

Julius Bockelt and Sven Fritz, both visual artists and musicians, have been working together as Superposition in the context of Frankfurt based Atelier Goldstein since 2014.

In their sonic improvisations they´re using Casio keyboards, modular synthesizers, toy computers and voice.
